Immigration into the United States has become a demographic phenomenon which has grown to become a major source in population and cultural growth in our country today. An immigrant is described as a person who has a developed citizenship, but has chosen to enter another country to establish a permanent residence (Immigration Assist, n.d.). Immigrants have become a common asset in the United States as they have made many contributions to our country. Every culture of Immigrants has their own story to share which explains why they chose to migrate and why it was so important for them to make an entry into the United States.
